It is because the award-winning host of Eat Bulaga previously announced his farewell on the show because he suffered a knee injury because of an accident in motorcycle training. The farewell was done by him last Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017. It is a sad news for the fans of supporters of Ryan Agoncillo in Eat Bulaga because the 38 years old host will have a temporary leave the longest running noontime show because she cannot perform well with his hosting and required to undergo knee surgery.
The actor added that his knee was swelling and it comes to the point that a certain amount of water and fluid was removed and drained from his knee to relieve the pain he suffered. He also joints and lower-back check-up through MRI. He was scheduled to undergo surgery on Nov.5, 2017, Sunday, one week after his farewell bid to the noontime show and having a rest for almost 2 weeks.
